MESA Advisor Retreat & Kick Off (MARK)
MARK workshops are designed to provide information, support, stimulation and networking opportunities with college and industry representatives and MESA Advisors from all over Colorado. Both new and veteran advisors will leave with resources and ideas to enhance their MESA programs.

HS Fall Fling
This two-day event brings students from Colorado MESA high schools around the state to a University campus to participate in two separate engineering team activities: the 2012-13 MESA USA NationalDesign Challenge Scrimmage and a Boat Building Design Challenge.
- Design, build and test your Wind Turbine.
- Design and prepare your Academic Display.
- Prepare your oral presentations.

MS MESA Day
The Middle School MESA Day is a hands on engineering competition scheduled for April 27, 2012 at the University of Colorado Denver, Auraria Campus. Students compete in a series of mathematics, engineering and science related projects including the State Wide qualifiers for the Wind Energy Competition, Prosthetic Arm design and others.
- Encourage team work and parent involvment in MESA projects.
- Encourage honesty and fair play in life situations through competition.
- Develop interpersonal and group skills.
HS Engineering & Science Jamboree
The High School Science and Engineering Jamboree is a hands on engineering competition scheduled for April 20, 2012 at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden. Students compete in a series of mathematics, engineering and science related projects including the State Wide qualifiers for the Wind Energy Competition, Prosthetic Arm design and others.

MESA USA
The Wind Energy Challenge event involves the transfer of energy from the wind source to the defined tasks. The maximum amount of energy available to complete the tasks will be limited to that provided by the defined commercial fan and the task time constraints.
- 3 Peformance Tasks: Mechanical Power, Wind to Vehicle Transfer and Electrical Power & Wind Direction.
- Oral Presentation and Technical Paper.
- Academic Display Presentation.
