Colorado MESA is pleased to announce our 17th Annual Awards Banquet scheduled for Thursday, May 15, 2008 at the Wildlife Experience located at 10035 Peoria Street, just south of Park Meadows Mall.  The annual awards banquet is an opportunity for Colorado MESA to recognize our outstanding students, programs and advisors from around the state.

Brian Argrow, Ph.D.
University of Colorado at Boulder

Brian Argrow is an Associate Dean in the College of Engineering at the University of Colorado. Over the last decade, he contributed to the development of a quiet, supersonic airplane and conducted research on unmanned aerial vehicles, including leading students in the design of a Tornado Chaser aircraft with the National Severe Storms Laboratory. In 2003, he co-founded the Research and Engineering Center for Unmanned Vehicles at CU. Brian has always had a passion for engaging students in the classroom and developing new methods for hands-on learning. He has won a national teaching award and several University teaching awards, including being named a University of Colorado President’s Teaching Scholar in 2000.

We have a limited number of complimentary seats available for MESA students and advisors. Due to the overwhelming response to past luncheons, we are limiting each school's complimentary seats to 9 students and 1 advisor. If you wish to bring more students, you have 2 options:

• Option #1
  
  You may opt to place additional students on a waitlist for the dinner. If extra seats are available, wait list students will be added on a first-come, first-served basis. If you would like to select this option, check Option #1 on the RSVP form.
  
  
• Option #2
  
  You may choose to guarantee seats for all students who wish to attend by paying $20 for each student you bring over the 9 student limit. This fee is not refundable and your check must accompany your RSVP. If you would like to select this option, check Option #2 on the RSVP form and enclose a check for $20/per student.

We will continue to accept reservations until all seats are full. We encourage you to get your RSVP and check to us ASAP because there are many more MESA students and advisors in Colorado than there are seats available at the awards Dinner. Industry sponsors are paying for the complimentary seats so we want to make sure that we fill every one available. DO NOT email RSVP form. Deposits MUST accompany your RSVP form.
